Training Insights and Upcoming Event in Luxembourg
The third edition of the B4C newsletter is now available, offering a look back at the successful CPD training programme held in Göttingen and a preview of the upcoming event in Luxembourg.
In April 2025, professionals from across Europe took part in a hands-on, cross-sectoral training week focused on biochar and the circular carbon economy (CCE). The programme combined expert-led sessions, collaborative project work, and excursions—highlighted by a visit to the Eichenberg Biochar TechLab—and concluded with the development and presentation of practice-oriented project prototypes.

Looking ahead, the newsletter also announces the next B4C event on 18–19 June 2025 in Luxembourg. Hosted at the IFSB in Bettembourg and as part of the LUGA (Luxembourg Urban Garden) exhibition, this event will bring together researchers, businesses, and educators to explore biochar applications in construction, urban sustainability, and public engagement.
